Why this bottle
Old vines give this wine its shape — depth without heaviness, and a creamy texture that makes it feel considerably more expensive than it is. Dark chocolate, mocha and cassis lead, then cherry comes forward on the palate with genuine energy and excellent length. The oak is near-immaculate in its integration and the tannins are satiny. A twenty-year proposition from a family that has been doing this a long time.
