Why this bottle
Fruit comes from vines averaging around twenty-five years of age across Greenock and Moppa, two of the Barossa's better-regarded sub-districts. Parcels are fermented separately in small open fermenters, basket pressed, then matured for twenty-four months in one to three year old French and American oak. The result is ripe blackberry and plum with sweet oak and dark liquorice, a rich and smooth palate of black fruit and dark chocolate, and a long, firmly structured finish.
