Why this bottle
This is Barossa Shiraz at full voice. Concentrated black fruit arrives first, then a distinctive Middle Eastern spice character that gives the wine its signature. Oak is fully integrated and the tannins are fine rather than grippy, which is why it finishes so long. Sam Kim gave it 97 points at Wine Orbit and Ray Jordan 96. A bottle worth saving for a table that will notice it.
